What topics are covered in the care programs?
The Obstetric Care program (OOv1) covers 7 phases: pre-conception, first trimester, second trimester, third trimester, labour and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care — with 350+ video chapters in total. A second program on reproductive health covers body literacy, sexual health, and conception.
Which Indian languages are the videos available in?
All videos are available in English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. You can switch language at any time in the app. If a video has not yet been uploaded in your preferred language, it falls back to English automatically.
Who presents the educational videos?
All videos are presented by Dr. Prashanth G, MS OBG — an obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Hospete, Karnataka. The content is based on WHO guidelines, Indian obstetric practice, and evidence-based medicine.
Are the care programs free?
Phase 1 (pre-conception) and Phase 2 (first trimester) of the obstetric program are fully free for all users. Later phases and condition-specific content (GDM, hypertension, high-risk pregnancy) require a Janani premium subscription.
Can I watch the videos without an internet connection?
Videos are streamed from YouTube. An internet connection is required for playback. The app remembers your progress so you can resume from where you stopped.
